BECOME A BLACKLIGHT WRITER
Turning the frontlines into words
As the writer on a Blacklight team, you will help give voice to the stories unfolding on the field. Through interviews, observation, and research, you’ll document the cultural and spiritual landscape of a place while capturing the experiences of local believers and gospel workers.
Writers conduct interviews with local Christians, missionaries, and people from the surrounding culture and belief systems. From these conversations and observations, you’ll practice cross-cultural journalism — transforming what the team encounters into thoughtful articles, reflections, and narrative pieces that help others understand the realities of the mission field.
In many ways, the writer becomes the heartbeat of the project — turning what is seen and experienced into stories that inform, challenge, and inspire. Your work will contribute directly to Blacklight’s article and editorial platform.
